Due to Covid-19 we are forced to change our level of service. Please do take a moment to reconsider before visiting the library. Our phone is open when the library is open and we reply to emails as fast as we possibly can. When you do visit us please keep the distance to staff and fellow library users.
Limited opening hours
We are open Monday-Friday 10:00-15.00. Our opening hours can change at short notice. You can find current opening hours here.
Borrow and return books
Loan periods are unchanged but no overdue fines will be charged. This is a temporary measure to mitigate the spread of the corona virus. Existing fine charges are still valid, but no new fine charges are executed.
Is it difficult for you to borrow books right now?
You can send someone else to pick up your requested books for you. Books can be checked out at the Information Desk if he/she shows your library card, your ID and their own ID. Remember that you can always reach our e-resources. Find out more about our distance resource here.
Is it difficult for you to return books right now?
Check the length of the loan period. We apply automatic renewals if no one else reserves the book. Log in and check your books in LUBcat. You can return books at all libraries belonging to Lund University. We expect you to return books if you are able!
If you cannot come to the library
You can return books by ordinary mail. You can find our address here. If you have questions, please send us an email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will try to get back to you within 24 hours. During our opening hours, you can call us at +46 42 35 65 80
At the moment we can not order interlibrary loans from libraries outside Sweden. You can find more information on interlibrary loans here.
