Campus Helsingborg's profile is at once broad and specialised. On the one hand, it is home to education and research in traditional and vast subject areas – such as social work and engineering. On the other hand, research in new, emerging academic fields thrives here – such as service management, fashion studies and strategic communication.

With these encounters in mind, Campus Helsingborg’s interdisciplinary and innovative profile does not come as a surprise.

The physical proximity of researchers from all these fields is one of the reasons why research and education at Campus Helsingborg are marked by boundary-crossing cooperation, new ways of thinking and an experimental approach. 

In recent years, Lund University has been very successful in obtaining major research grants. Every year, over EUR 455 million are allocated to research within eight faculties, giving us Sweden’s strongest and broadest research range.
