On 5-7 November 2024, Lund University will host the ninth edition of the Nordic Retail and Wholesale Conference (NRWC). The conference is organised at Campus Helsingborg and brings together international researchers in retail and logistics to discuss current research issues.

This year's conference theme is ‘Retail Imagination’ and highlights the ability of retail to shape future consumption.

The conference will start on 5 November with a workshop for PhD students where young researchers will have the chance to present their work and receive feedback from experienced colleagues. This will be followed by a welcome mingle at the City Hall in Helsingborg, where all conference participants will have the opportunity to network in a relaxed setting.

The main conference itself will be held on 6-7 November at Campus Helsingborg. During two days, the latest research in trade and logistics will be presented and discussed by the conference participants.

Every other year, the conference is organised by The Nordic Retail and Wholesale Association (NRWA) together with local organisers with the aim of creating a broad meeting place for researchers in retail and wholesale. This year it is Lund University's turn with 144 registered participants from different countries.

This year's organising committee consists of Kristina Bäckström, Carys Egan-Wyer and Emma Samsioe, researchers in retail and consumption at Lund University.

‘We have been planning the conference for the past two years and now look forward to welcoming all participants to Helsingborg!’ says Kristina Bäckström.
