The Departments conduct the majority of the University’s research and education. Activities at a department are managed by a head of department. The following Departments and equivalent units have activities at Campus Helsingborg:
Department of Arts and Cultural Sciences
The Department of Arts and Cultural Science offers the Bachelor’s programme in fashion studies at Campus Helsingborg. An important part of the department’s work is to highlight humanities perspectives and studies of culture with all their changing manifestations and interpretations. The department is part of the Faculties of Humanities and Theology.

Department of Service Management and Service Studies
The Department of Service Management and Service Studies with just over 800 students is the largest department at Campus Helsingborg and part of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The department focuses on education and research on service organisations, mainly within well-being, hospitality, retail, tourism and logistics.

Department of Strategic Communication
The Department of Strategic Communication at Campus Helsingborg has the highest number of students, teaching staff and researchers in Sweden within the field of strategic communication. The department is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences and is one of the largest units in strategic communication within Europe.

LTH – Faculty of Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering is part of Lund University’s Faculty of Engineering, one of Sweden’s few complete engineering higher education institutions. The LTH School of Engineering in Helsingborg offers degrees of Bachelor of Science in Engineering in the fields of construction engineering, computer engineering and electrical engineering – automation.

School of Social Work
The School of Social Work is part of the Faculty of Social Sciences and has 1200 students in Helsingborg and Lund. The largest degree programme at the department is the BSc programme in Social Work. The School of Social Work has a well-developed collaboration with higher education institutions all over the world.
