How do people perceive their relationship with AI-systems and what is pushed for by law or in ethics guidelines? By drawing from studies in various domains — such as data collection in digital consumer markets, breast radiologists' interaction with computer vision, and public sector automation when distributing welfare — Stefan Larsson shows some of the key challenges in how AI is being implemented in society.

About Stefan Larsson

As a socio-legal and multi-disciplinary researcher, Stefan leads a research group on studying governance and issues of trust and transparency with autonomous and AI-driven technologies. The projects he leads or participates in are in domains ranging from the public sector, to consumer markets, medicine and social robotics. He also advises or collaborates with agencies such as the Swedish Consumer Agency, and organisations like the Internet Foundation and AI Sweden.
