Student unions and associations are here to help you get the most out of your studies. Whether you want to dance until the sun rises, prepare for your future career or just hang out with other students, there is a student union or association for you!
Stampus
Stampus is the student association for everyone at Campus Helsingborg. The association offers many different activities and benefits for you as a student in the city. With the Thursday pubs as a signum, the association offers a break in everyday life or an opportunity for you to get involved in a food or bar team to be behind the scenes. The association has a wide range of committees to offer different types of activities and opportunities for you as a member. Some of the committees that exist are the DJ, sports, ski and event committee. Do you think something is missing? Contact the association for help in setting up a new project group or committee.
Agora
Agora, a section of the Union of Social Sciences, is for students at the Department of Service Sciences or the Department of Strategic Communication. The section focuses on educational quality and student influence. For a memorable and fun study time, projects such as the Introduction Week, sittings and the Spring Ball are organized. Committees such as the Events Committee, Marketing Committee, Education Committee, International Committee and Business Committee provide opportunities for involvement and valuable experience.
Ingenjörssektionen
For those who study at LTH in Helsingborg, there is the Ingenjörssektionen, part of Teknologkåren at Lund University of Technology. The section is responsible for study monitoring and collaborates with the business community through study visits and lunch lectures. In addition to focusing on the quality of education, the section also offers activities such as nollning and sittings to help you become part of the community and make the most of your time on campus. Its committees give you the opportunity to get involved and immerse yourself in your interests.
Modevetenskapliga studierådet
Modevetenskapliga studierådet (the fashion science student council) is for those who study fashion science on campus. The student council exists as a link between fashion scientists in Helsingborg and the Cultural Sciences Student Council and the Humanities and Theology Student Union, whose purpose is to conduct educational monitoring activities and support you as a student in various situations. The association organizes meetings, clothing exchange days and also has a monthly newsletter for all members.
MiH Student
MiH Student gives you a natural contact route to the business community in the region as the association is a subsidiary of the Marketing Association in Helsingborg (Marknadsföreningen i Helsingborg). As a member, which anyone can become, you get access to breakfast lectures and events. You can also join the mentor program and get a mentor from the business community, or participate in company visits, interactive lectures and workshops. All to gain inspiration and valuable experience for life after your studies.

FAQ on student associations, student unions and other related matters
A student union represents students on specific programs at the university and is responsible for ensuring the quality of the education and helping students with any disputes or problems. In addition to their university-related responsibilities, student unions also organize a variety of activities and events to enhance your time as a student outside the classroom.
A student association, on the other hand, is completely independent of the university and thus exclusively organizes extracurricular activities to make your time as a student as good and fun as possible. What they both have in common, however, is that they are run by students for students.
The main purpose of the Nations is to promote social life outside of study. Their wide range of activities include food services, pubs and nightclubs. In addition, they also offer various sports, newspapers, radio programs, choirs, scholarships and housing to create a diverse and engaging study environment.
In Helsingborg there is no nation tradition, but in Lund there are 13 different nations. Read more on Studentlund website about the nations.
Studentlund consists of the student unions, Akademiska Föreningen and the nations and is available for those who are enrolled at Lund University. A membership here gives you access to all of Lund's, including Helsingborg's, student life. As a member, you get access to, among other things:
- Housing
- Nightclubs
- Interesting lectures
- Education monitoring
- Several scholarships and discounts
Membership is not compulsory, but it is a chance for you to influence your study situation and take part in the activities organized.
